Schematic Touch

Situated at the intersection of technology and user-centered design, Schematic Touch is Schematic's digital out-of-home division (DOOH). Our physical/digital work ranges from touchscreen kiosks to multi-touch tables and walls, digital signage, and monumental projections, and is applicable to a wide range of events, environments, and sectors.

Marketing Innovation Examples

Cannes Lions Touchwall

Schematic partnered with the Cannes Lions organizers to build a 12' by 5' multi-user Touchwall that served as the information and connection hub of the 2009 festival. Users could explore maps of the city and venue, along with the entire event schedule, and use the wall to email other delegates with requests for information. RFID-enabled festival badges allowed each user to have a personalized experience alongside other delegates.

Sports Museum of America

Working with the Sports Museum of America, Schematic handled all aspects of concept development, research, design, and production for a series of 20 plus unique and exciting interactive sports-related activities for the 28,000 square foot exhibition. These included an immersive hockey activity that allows visitors to experience the thrill of defending the goal against virtual NHL players, a head-to-head soccer shoot-out game, and a multi-player trivia game in which fans compete.
