Barnes & Noble

RTI designed and produced a new 20x40 exhibit that took on the architectural feel of a Barnes & Noble retail store. The focal point of the exhibit was the main stucco-style circular header constructed of lightweight foam for ease of handling and set up while keeping drayage costs to a minimum. Interactive kiosks within the rotunda allowed for access to the Barnes & Noble College Booksellers web site and the open floor plan included informal seating areas with monitors flanking either end of the exhibit.

The comments included "awesome", "beautiful" and "amazing", but one of the best compliments was "I feel there should be a dress code for entering this trailer." The project included interior fabrication, exterior graphics and canopy of a 53' single expandable trailer for ASSA ABLOY, the global leader in door and hardware products and complete opening solutions. The Innovation Showroom is completely wired to run full size door and product displays, detail lighting and interactive touch screen monitors including wireless capability. The creative layout clearly and visually provides for spatial definitions of 6 specific product areas. This traveling display enables end-users, customers, architects, designers and security integrators to experience new technologies developed by ASSA ABLOY Group brands.
